May 16th

My mum was admitted into hospital on thursday’s night.I am very unsatisfied with the way Tan Tock Seng Hospital operates.Their system is not really top notch.I thought all along Singapore’s healthcare system was efficient and one of the best in the world,until yesterday.I saw how pathetic it was.They did not even have a proper room for my mother,they just merely dump her in a corner of the hospital where there is no proper air ventilation and air conditioning.That level was more like a war camp.99% of the patients in the room were old people,and about 5 to a room.I kept asking the nurse when will my mum’s room be ready?They kept asking me to wait.I waited for so long,my mum only wants a room to herself,i dont think it is that hard to get a room in such a big hospital.
So morale of the day,go to other hospitals.I think Thomson Medical and Mt Alvernia are better choices.
Anyway after little india,we went to Clarke Quay.Fb,Siti,Huiling and I went in to support Fb’s friend in Star dust,some singing competition.
It was quite boring actually.After eating a little,we went to the lifestyle’s magazine launch at Indochine.Thanks Gary~ I was so super underdressed.I made new friends and saw some friends yesterday!
